| Hi I'm David, representing be Safe, stay Strong on UPTOWN145. Since Sept 1 2009, we at be SAFE, stay STRONG, a non-profit foundation, believe that it is our obligation to help those in need by raising money along with other donations to better handle and equip disadvantage children, no-kill animal shelters and other charitable organizations. We at be SAFE, stay STRONG believe in paying it forward and leading by example. On Sept 26th, 2010 be SAFE, stay STRONG held its first annual fund raiser as well as conducted and participated in our first softball and Volleyball tournament on the grounds of Pleasantville Cottage School, located in Westchester county in NYC, which is run by the Jewish Child Care Association. Pleasantville Cottage Schools 100 + acre campus is made up of 15 co-ed cottages, an intermediate and High School, Olympic size swimming pool and many sports and recreation centers. J. C.C.A has been serving children and families of all ages since 1822. J.C.C.A's programs are located throughout New York City’s five boroughs, Westchester County and Long Island. Services include: group and family day care, mental health and preventive services,education programs, a residential diagnostic center, foster homes, group homes and residential services for children and adolescents, preventive services, detox and adoption services. J.C.C.A's programs reach more than 12,000 children and family members annually, regardless of Religion, Race, Creed, Sexual Orientation and/or financial background. As most of you all know our founder and CEO of be SAFE, stay STRONG was raised in Pleasantville Cottage School from the age of 7 and stayed under the care of the Jewish Child Care Association until he was 21.
